White Horse Employment are partnering with an award winning brand based near Wincanton, supporting their search for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
In this role, you will have a strong understanding of month end process, experience of posting journals and understand the different aspects of transactional finance. The company is going through some rapid expansion so this role is the perfect fit for someone who is ambitious and wants to progress with a business.
You will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including:
Posting of journals
Prepayments and accruals
Managing the fixed asset register
Supporting the financial controller with budgeting and forecasting
Involvement in consolidating the statutory accounts as well as the audit process when applicable
Business partnering with the wider business
Working closely with the transactional team and supporting them when required
Supporting expansion projects and automation processes
