White Horse Employment are proud to be continuing our support for a highly reputable local services provider who pride themselves on providing a high quality service for all. This client is located in Midsomer Norton.
We are currently seeking additional support within their Finance team, working as a Credit Controller on a full-time basis. The role will be supporting the wider finance team within the business and you will be involved in ensuring that all debts are paid in a timely manner.
DAY TO DAY YOU WILL BE:
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter, ensuring timely debt payments and handling disputed bills through negotiation.
- Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries, providing accurate billing advice and maintaining high customer service standards.
- Manage banking, allocations, and credit checks while maintaining accurate records of all chasing activities.
- Oversee held order reports and address internal payment-related queries.
- Support additional duties as needed to ensure smooth financial operations.
THE SUCCESSFULL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Experienced in recent credit controller/finance positions (2+ years)
- Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines
- Confident IT user (Excel, Automated PL Systems etc.)
